to be continued...

Two weeks ago, some of my girls and I went to Chicago. We had a blast and I have photos to prove it but for now I'm going to post-pone my photo op as I'd like to keep as much attention on praying for Daisy as possible. So for now...Please Keep Praying for the
Merrick Family and Daisy Love Merrick!
XOXO.

Pray for Daisy

Please Pray for Daisy Love Merrick~
Britt and Kate Merrick's daughter, Daisy fell on the playground Monday at school and was taken to ER for what they thought was a ruptured kidney and internal bleeding. She is 5 years old. Shortly after, they discovered it was not internal bleeding but an actual tumor that filled her abdomen. The oncologist was 80% sure it was a Wilms Tumor which happens to be a malignant tumor. It is Cancer however it is highly curable. Daisy underwent surgery for the removal and biopsy of the tumor on Thursday and now they are awaiting oncology reports. They were able to remove the entire tumor so that is definitely a blessing. Preliminary reports say Stage 3. Please keep the entire family in prayer especially DAISY, Britt, Kate and Isaiah as well as the grandparents, aunts and uncles. God has been good and we need to continue to pray and walk in his Grace. You can follow Daisy's progress on the link above...

Napa Birthday, Matt!

Labor Day weekend was spent with friends in Napa for Matt's 50th. Wine tasting, eating, drinking, eating, drinking...
so much fun!~The Collins, Rosas, Gilkeys and Prices.

We all wore buttons that said something about Matt for example Troy's said, "Matt-be my full time lover" and I'm not sure if he didn't mean it :) Of course, Matt had one that said, "Hi, My name is Matt." It was very funny. He also wore his birthday gift (a home made toupee by yours truly) as shown in the photo above. The looks at The Girl And The Fig were PRICELESS!

Happy Napa Birthday to you, Birthday Boy.
