Christmas Wrap-Up

Christmas Week: A Fantastically-Festive 5 days spent with friends and family.

The week began with a party at the Hair home where the kids made jingle-bell bracelets, had treats and opened gifts. It was a great start to a busy week.

Tuesday, we finally got around to making our Gingerbread houses and it was Bailey/Troy vs. Mom/Grace. Who do you think took it? They both did a great job and were very competitive, I might add. Don't know where they get it...

We headed to Oakhurst Wednesday to stay over and have Christmas with the VanVelsons. We also got a chance to see the new Alvin and the Chipmunk movie which was very cute. It was a great time with the cousins and all of the gift-grabbing, pulling, throwing, tugging, etc...What was not so great was that Grace got a terrible cold and was left feeling miserable on Christmas Eve. The photo is of her "opening" her new pajamas. It was a bummer Christmas for her.

Christmas Eve and day was awesome as we got a chance to hang with our friends, have a wonderful dinner at the Wadsworths and my mom came to celebrate her birthday (Christmas day) with us. She was welcomed into the "Lolita" glass club. Although Grace continued to take a downward turn, we still managed to have an amazing time. I am so looking forward to next year!Only 363 days to go...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!

A little piece of Denmark

It was Troy's first visit and it did not disappoint. We strolled, window-shopped at the cutest Danish boutiques, caroled on a trolley pulled by Clydesdale horses and saw beautiful Christmas lights. It was a great night.

The First Noel...

Today we had our Annual Clymer family Christmas at my Uncle Jack's ranch in Solvang. It was a beautiful day in a gorgeous setting with our amazing family. Everyone is doing so great and it has been a year of many blessings. We did miss my cousin Jessica's family who lives in Guam and also my grandpa Jack. Here's to a wonderful holiday season...

Christmas in the Rain

Last night brought the Annual Christmas Parade. It was a wet one but the kids still had a blast. It was very surprising how many people braved the rain to take part in the festivities. That's what Christmas will do to you...

Santa's Helper

Work, Work, Working away in Santa's Shop! Love this new space. It has allowed for many crafts to be done. Oh and those cute hot cocoa jars were favors for the caroling party to take place this Saturday, but the weather had other ideas so now they're just cute!

Tree Hunting

Went to get the Christmas Tree. Brought the Christmas Tree home. Looked VERY CAREFULLY at the tree that was supposed to have been looked at before we left the lot and what do you know...BROWN!!! Troy is now taking the tree back and getting a new, green tree. But, the girls had fun searching and looking. Tomorrow's post will hopefully show a much prettier tree. Decorated and Green.
