Clymer Christmas in Carpinteria

We love this time of year in our favorite home away from home with our family. We had Christmas with mom and Mick then headed to Aunt Jill's house with all of my siblings and their families as well as the rest of the family. Such a beautiful day followed by a fun evening with our buddies.

Thanksgiving is a time of giving thanks. We give thanks for what we have...family, friends, health, homes, food, education and the list goes on! In our family, we are beyond thankful; we are blessed. We know that everything we have is in thanks to our Lord's provisions. We love our life and all who are in it. We did our usual this year...Thanksgiving preparations, Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends and our Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot. These are traditions our family has created; traditions I love and cherish. We are so blessed!

Baking & Books

Every year the girls and I bake pumpkin bread and deliver it to our friends around town. We love to them know how thankful we are for each of them. Having no family in town can sometimes be difficult but by God's Grace, we have found some amazing friends who have become family. We love this season of celebration.

The next day, Grace received an award at school for all of her hard work in reading. She was the top reader in all of second grade (300 students). We couldn't be more proud.
