St. Thomas

Our group did a catamaran snorkel adventure from St. Thomas to St. John. Off the coast of St. John, we anchored and got in the water with all of our equipment on. Grace and Ella screamed bloody murder with fear before being tossed in by their loving parents, Luke got stung by a jellyfish, Kristie had a small panic attack thinking the tide took her kids out to sea and she & Ashley didn't heed the warning about getting too close to coral (ouch). Although it sounds crazy, the day was gloriously fun with all of our underwater sightings including Nemo, Dori, a sea turtle and a stingray. The crew, reggae vibes and views didn't disappoint either!

Arrrrggghhh

 Pirate Night was a huge success with the kids. We watched Frozen, Jack Sparrow and fireworks all in one night. Needless to say, it was no surprise when we overslept and almost missed our excursion the next morning.

St. Maarten

Decidedly one of the best days was spent on Mullet Bay Beach in St. Maarten. We snorkeled in the most beautiful turquoise waters, lounged by the shore and the kids played in the sand until the last second of our day. The most memorable part of the day was the look on the kid's faces when they realized that not everyone wears swimwear to the beach. I think Bailey said it perfectly with,"Mom, I think we're on the French side".

 Evelyn did it again with most precious Belle dresses for Bailey, Ella and Grace!

The Happiest Place at Sea

...and we're off! Thirteen of us (The Hansen's, Peirera's and VanVelsons) headed off to Orlando Florida to board the Disney Fantasy for 7 days. We sailed away to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Castaway Cay (Bahamas). The next few posts will be snapshots of our amazing and truly magical adventure.

This Thanksgiving was unusually busy with us getting ready to fly out for Florida the next morning. It was so wonderful to spend our feast with the Wadsworth family and not worry about a thing. In true Mary fashion, it was perfection. From the table scape to the turkey, it was a joyful time.
