Boats and Bropheys

When our buddies come to town there's only one place to go for the freshest seafood...Bropheys. Bailey loves all things mussels and clams and this dinner didn't disappoint. The kids just loved watching the boats pull in and unload the freshest catch.

Being in Carp lends itself to all sorts of spur of the moment fun. One evening, our wonderful friend and resident surf champion, Aaron, asked Bailey if she wanted to do a push surf contest the next morning. This would be her first. He called the next morning and asked me to bring her down to Santa Claus where he proceeded to stay in the water for the remainder of the day pushing both Asher and Bailey into victory. Bailey took home the 1st place trophy and Asher the 2nd place...Sarah and I couldn't have grinned any harder. It was definitely a day to remember as the first of many contests to come...I'm sure!

Waddy Cabin-Silver City

This year the cabin didn't disappoint with games, lounge time and plenty of fireside time! We always look forward to our time away from electronics, phones and television. It's nice to unplug and engage especially with good company.



Drive-In Days

Drive-In night with the Thompsons. We love this family. Sachi and I have been friends since junior high and we have such a blast together. I adore her and her sweet family. On a side note...Grace lost her tooth...wohoo!
