The sunsets are to die for. The hikes are amazing. The skiing is usually awesome (although it was perfect for two first time skiers). Bailey did amazing for her first time on skis. We were all so impressed. We are hopeful that there will be fresh powder upon our next return. We are loving the mountains this winter!
Every year. Same time. Same two girls. My bestie from college (and still), Sara and her daughter Avery come for a visit. My girls and I love it. We laugh, we have mini photo sessions (well, Sara does the picture taking and I wait in the background), we make and eat pizza and we just catch up. The girls kept saying "your just like my mom" to each of us and really it's true! We are crazy together...just as it should be. Just like it was and still is.
I'm looking forward and 2011 is in the rear view mirror. No resolutions for me. No big things I need to accomplish. No time I need to fill. My mom asked me what I want to have happen this year and I responded with, "NOTHING, I think we had enough craziness for 1 year."
