Birthday Bonanza.

This year a little girl turned the magical age of 6. We asked her if she wanted a party or the gift she has been begging for, a Nintendo DS! She chose the DS. I thought to myself, "yes! I'm off the hook." Not so fast.

We had my parents here for a night of partying hard, Grandma Nikki here on Saturday for more festivities and on Sunday we had lunch, pedi's and shopping with the girls! We rounded out the big day with her actual birthday being Monday and we did the school party, T-ball game and Grandpa Lester coming for a pizza party. WOW! Little did I know my girl would take after me and want to celebrate for 4 days. I LOVED EVERY MINUTE & SO DID SHE!!!!

Mother's Day Delights

Yep, that's me. Just woken up by my two favorite girls with breakfast in bed. It was a beautiful morning laying in bed until 12 o'clock (can't remember the last time that happened), watching TV, wrestling and enjoying my ladies. I also got a great new set of wheels for Mother's Day and have been tootling all over town. I hope everyone enjoyed their day as much as I did. Happy Mother's Day to all of the fabulous moms I know!!!

Catch of the Day

Today was the Annual Fishing Derby in Oakhurst for Lester and Karen's work, Sierra Telephone Company. It was a beautiful day and Bailey caught a 15 inch bass by herself! She even did it the old-fashioned way using a reed pole. Go Bailey...our little fisher woman!

Opening Day

Saturday was the opening day of T-Ball/Little League. It was a great day and Troy had the honor of being asked to throw out the opening pitch. Looks like it's going to be a great season!
