Ocean to Orchard Take 2

O to O was upon us and we kicked butt...well some of us! It was a great over-nighter and next year we need to make it a little longer. There's nothing like a 10k in gorgeous weather overlooking the Pacific!

Projects Abound

I have been oh so busy doing some much needed projects around the house. I'm starting to paint out all of the oak (some on my own and some will be "professional") and decided to start with the girls room. I painted the window seats, trim and closet doors. What do you think? I love it but it is sooo much work. I do not like oil-based paint!!!!

Birthday Wishes

Picture Overload. This is what happens when you haven't blogged in a gazillion weeks! Grace had an awesome 3rd birthday with family and friends at the pizza parlor on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. There was pizza making, cupcake licking and game playing for all...including 1 adult child (you know who you are). Can't wait to see what the year holds for our big girl.

BROKEN.

So, I would love to be blogging these days as it seems there is so much to show/tell/display however my computer has decided otherwise and thus I'm left to hold on to such memories and events until the time comes to bombard you all with weeks of activities. :) It's so funny that we take this thing called cyber-space and computers for granted and to be without them feels so weird and incomplete. I should be happy because it has allowed me to finally finish a few books that have become dusty on my night stand and catch up on some zzz's. Hopefully the computer whiz will figure it all out and I'll be up to my old tricks in no time. Until then...
