Valentine's Day Weekend + Skiing = Perfect 3 Day Weekend
Bailey went down her first black diamond and rocked it, Grace continued to shred the slopes and I was sick with a head cold but managed to sit slope-side and cheer my team on!
Shaver finally got some snow and we were lucky enough to spend New Year's on the slopes with our good buddies, the Hansens and the Pereiras! We skied, we played mean games of Spoons and Cards of Humanity (well the big kids played), and enjoyed a cold weather storm in the warm comforts of Chateau de Hansen.
Well that happened! A year has come and gone and by the looks of this blog, you'd think we did absolutely nothing! I definitely neglected this part of my memory keeping process but trust me when I say, 2015 was full of amazing memories, great laughs and lots of growing (physically and emotionally). By God's Grace, we are on to a new year...one in which I hope my blogger's block will be cured and this posting drought will flood again!
Every year we get to spend Christmas in Oakhurst celebrating with our VanVelson family. The kids love each other so much and enjoy their fun day together. This year was no exception with a wonderful brunch, gifts and laughs.
Lots of traditions take place on Christmas Eve...pajamas, Christmas book, dinner at the Wadsworth's followed by a mean game of Nerf tag, games, and good friends.
I am a mom of two girls and a wife to a great husband. I started this blog as a way to journal the day to day happenings of our simple yet fabulous lives.
